Cyclists
for Team CNI Raised $18,000 in 2006 Race promoter and organizer, Scot Harris, is brother to brain tumor survivor, Jil Grund, and fully supports CNI's fundraising efforts. Altogether, 7,000 cycling enthusiasts helped 24 non-profit entities that will benefit from the $100,000 raised during the event.
2006 corporate sponsors who underwrote the CNI expenses included Morton Publishing, Arapahoe Sertoma Club, HealthONE Swedish Medical Center Gamma Knife Center, Pharmion Corporation and Edward B. Arenson, MD.
Congratulations to all the riders who braved the early morning hours and then the late day heat to make this event a success for CNI. Thank you, too, to the many people who raised money or donated money so generously. A special thanks to all the volunteers and staff who gave of their time and worked tirelessly to secure the funding we need to offer support services to our patients and to do the research that will one day find a cure for this disease.
