CNI has several support groups available to patients trying to cope with neurological conditions. Sometimes, just knowing there are others in the same situation can make a world of difference for a patient or caregiver. Having an opportunity to talk to someone who has been through a similar experience can be both encouraging and healing. If you would like to find a support group for a neurological disorder - either local or national - which isn't listed below, or if you know of one that we should include here, please send us an e-mail.
For persons living with epilepsy, their parents, spouses and significant others.
The Epilepsy group will be facilitated by Peggy Hugger,
RN. The group will be a combination of education and support.
Dates: Third Tuesday of the Month, Evenings
Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Below is a listing of support groups in Colorado for epilepsy patients. The groups below are sponsored by the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and are not CNI support groups.
Boulder - meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at various restaurants. Contact Larry Dolan, 303-442-2433.
Colorado Springs - Parents' support group meets the 3rd Thursday at 6p.m. at CPCD (Community Partnership for Child Development), 2330 Robinson Street. Contact Heather Jackson 719-491-7340.
Adult support group meets the 3rd Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Easter Seals Society of Southern Colorado, 225 S. Academy Blvd. Contact Sarah Ferarrah, 719-510-2140.

Epilepsy Surgery Support Group - Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month, by referral only. Call 303-377-9774.
Grand Junction- Meets the 1st Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Radiken Tower. Contact Drene Stevens, 970-433-0488.
Greeley 3rd Thursday - Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Golden Corral Family Steak House, 3035 23rd Avenue. Contact Marcia Anderson, 970-590-0145.
Greeley 2nd Tuesday - Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 917 10th Avenue.
