Local Stroke Resources
CNI Neurohealth Center
With the help of funding from the Spalding Community Foundation, the
CNI NeuroHealth Center provides: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy,
Speech Therapy by licensed therapists to stroke patients who do
not have medical insurance or have exhausted their rehabilitation benefits.
Other patient services include: neuropsychological evaluations, scholarships
for driving evaluations conducted at Spalding
Rehabilitation Hospital, therapeutic massage, ophthalmology exams
and access to affordable patient equipment.
To qualify the patient must:
- have had a stroke
- be medically under-insured or noninsured
- meet functional screening criteria established by the physical,
occupational and speech therapists.
