Paul M. Katz, MDPaul M. Katz, MD—Dr. Katz is the Medical Director of the Washoe Institute for Neurosciences and Washoe Comprehensive Stroke Center in Reno, Nevada, and Chief of Staff at Washoe Medical Center Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Katz currently serves as a fellow of the Stroke Council of the American Stroke Association and as a member of the board of directors for the Western States Affiliate Stroke Task Force of the American Stroke Association. He is also active in the Western States Stroke Consortium.

 



CNI First Annual Rocky Mountain Stroke Summit, 2004

CNI presented the First Annual Rocky Mountain Stroke Summit on October 30, 2004. Highlighted topics included a discussion of what makes a Comprehensive Stroke Center and why it is important to the community, women's issues such as hormone replacement therapy, cardiovascular risk factors for women, postpartum issues; risk assessment, prevention, rehabilitation, and smoking cessation.
